Great Monuments app for iPhone and iPad

A Monument is any work, Architectural preferably with some artistic, historical or social group to which it was erected. In initial form, the term is applied exclusively to the structure that was built in memory of a character or a major event, but its use was extended and has come to understand any historical building located in an urban or isolated rural . In antiquity, the term is attributed especially funerary works (Pyramids), and during the Roman Empire, was dedicated to the Emperor and his court, the case usually a statue or an obelisk.

Great Monuments reflects the main since antiquity.

It shows the information for each Monument on the History, State (Country-City), Location Map, Culture, Style, Type of Monument, Construction Dates, Capacity, Size, Length, Width and Height, and several photographs of the monument taken from different angles.

Can access the official website if available, as well as to existing information in Wikipedia on each of the Monuments.

We see images of the monuments that look and zoom in on them to appreciate the different details, and see the position on the map.

Similarly we rate our favorite buildings, to access them quickly through different filters.

It also has a slideshow function that allows us to enjoy all the images in a convenient way.

In this first application contains more than 100 monuments that will grow in future releases of the application.
